Fifteen Weeks

Such a stud at fifteen weeks!

Grandma Green, Meme, and Papa came to visit this past week. They helped out while I went to work to get my classroom ready for the new school year. I knew Luke was in good hands while I worked two full days and tried out my new work pumping schedule. The good news is that Luke took great naps for them while I was gone. He must know mommy is a sucker who will snuggle with him, which is why he's not a great napper for me. I was thrilled, because I want him to take good naps at the sitter when I go back to work. He sure entertained his special visitors, and I got a lot done in my classroom.

It finally cooled off this week. We hadn't gotten Luke out in the stroller for a walk in a LONG time, because the temps have been in the triple digits for weeks. When we put him in the stroller this week, I couldn't believe how big he looked. His legs actually hung over the edge of the seat. Seriously, look at these pictures to compare.

We visited some friends at the Lake of the Ozarks this past weekend. Luke loved sitting out on the deck in his shark hat.

Luke thinks he looks like a tough guy with the hat on backwards. He's showing off his shark fin.

Mommy and Daddy took Luke on a paddle boat ride. He fell fast asleep in his life jacket, because he was swaddled up tight.

We've had so much fun watching the Olympics these past two weeks. Luke might just be the next Michael Phelps or Usain Bolt.
