Growing, Growing, Growing

At 29 weeks I'm finally starting to really feel my belly button get stretched to the max. It's not popping out, but is pretty darn close. Even though I notice how big I'm getting, many people just can't believe how small I am for being 29 weeks. My belly continues to move a lot and I have had some sickness on the weekends. I'm wondering if it's because I sleep a little bit later and don't eat breakfast right away. Having an empty stomach is usually a recipe for me getting sick. I'm also getting uncomfortable in bed, and I'm very thankful for the enormous pregnancy pillow that I inherited from a friend. It wraps from one side of my body to the other side, and is a lifesaver.

Doctor appointments come very fast now (every two weeks instead of every month), and it's amazing that we get to see our baby every appointment. We were somewhat relieved this time, because the baby's weight went up to the 28th percentile and all looked good. So baby IS growing! The fetal non-stress test was interesting, because we got to see how the baby's heart rate jumps up as he/she moves. I told Jacob the baby is doing interval training, and that's why he/she is having difficulty gaining weight. Unfortunately I got sick after the ultrasound and during the non-stress test. I guess laying on my back cut off some blood circulation making me nauseous. The doctor recommended that I request to lay on my side for the next one.
